May The Circle Remain Unbroken: Corinne Day's photographs influenced a generation of fashion and documentary image makers. Her pictures unflinchingly documented her life and relationships with a realist snapshot aesthetic-representing a youth culture set against the glamour of fashion and avoiding fictionalisation or voyeurism.

Gaining notoriety both for a scandalous photo of Kate Moss in Vogue in 1993 and for pioneering so-called 'grunge' fashion photography, for a time she was exiled from the mainstream fashion media. Corinne later returned to the fashion and art world with works exhibited and collected in galleries and museums worldwide.
